Thanks to the people and organizations of B.C. the current container is filling quickly! Check out the website link to see what's needed.
We do need to raise $20,000 to ship the container, so donations are welcome. Please post to 10108 Julia Street, Summerland, V0H 1Z5, B.C., Canada. Make the cheque out to The One Person Project OR to the shipper, Global Emergency Missions if you need a tax receipt. Thank you!
2. The Muhanga, Rwanda Shipping Container
Thank you to everyone who helped fill and send our first shipment!
The forty foot shipping container transported over 16,000 books, most of which will create a library in each school. An amazing achievement which will transform many lives now and in the future.
As well as books the shipping container carried school resources, sewing machines, soccer equipment, gardening tools and medical equipment - including hospital beds, bedding and wheelchairs. Also 30 families will be receiving plastic totes filled with gifts and essential items.

3. Dr Leonard Subi heads the Kahama Hospital in Tanzania, and is the only medical doctor for around a million people!
We have raised two-thirds of the $3,000 needed to bring Dr Subi to B.C. to attend the 8th Annual St Paul's Emergency Medicine Update Conference, which is being held in Whistler later this year.
Dr Subi will be meeting with medical professionals to solicit volunteer training sessions for the hospital and clinic staff in Kahama. He will also be speaking in the Okanagan, in order to share his passion for his vocation and the people he serves.
More details to follow. Contact us if you wish to make a donation.
